Free Retirement Savings Planner

Planning for retirement is mostly about two questions: how much will I have, and how long will it last? This calculator answers both. Enter your current savings and what you add each month, and it projects your nest egg forward to your chosen retirement age using compound growth.

It then flips the problem around: it withdraws your desired monthly income from that nest egg year after year and tells you roughly when it runs out. If it survives to your life expectancy, you have a comfortable margin. If not, you will see exactly how far short you fall, so you can adjust savings, contributions, or your target date.
