Tune your guitar in seconds
This tuner uses your device's microphone to listen to each string and tell you exactly whether it is flat, sharp or in tune. Tap a string button to set the target note, or leave it in auto mode to detect any note.
The colored bar shows how close you are. When the marker lands on the white center line and the note turns green, your string is in tune. Your audio is processed live in the browser and is never recorded or uploaded.
Standard tuning
The six strings use standard tuning: the thickest string is E2, then A2, D3, G3, B3 and the thinnest is E4. Pluck one string at a time, let it ring clearly, and adjust the tuning peg slowly while watching the gauge.
Frequently asked questions
How does the tuner work?
It listens through your microphone, measures the pitch of the note you play, and shows how far it is from the target in cents.
Is my audio recorded or uploaded?
No. The microphone signal is processed live in your browser and never recorded or sent to a server.
Why does it show the wrong note?
Make sure you play one clean string at a time, close to the microphone, and avoid background noise.
